O.k. I have a NEC 2010X LCD monitor. After two years the primary board on this failed late 2005. Now, it's happening again. This time, though, it's no longer under warranty.
Question: What monitor would you all recommend as a replacement for my non-Apple computer? Would like the same size at a minimum, but am considering a dual option, too.
I am considering a mac to completely replace the existing PC, but that cost right now may be too steep. The IRS just took a bit bite. I hate tax time!

One of mine recently developed a black line acrossed the bottom, about 1" up from the bezel. I called Samsung on the 23rd, and the replacement is waiting for me at the UPS store right now. These come with 3 year parts and labor, hopefully I won't have to use it again though.
