some theatre stuff
hey all.
here's some theatre shots ive taken over the past few months at my college. (augusta state university) not everything has been post processed as i dont have time to process everything i shoot. (note: descriptions are above images, not below...enjoy!)
The Claremont Trio:
there were kind enough to pose for me after the concert. man are they cute...and smart. all 3 graduates of julliard. and yes, the string players are twin sisters. you arnt seeing double.
next up on the list is recycled percussion. man were they a fun group. they set up outside the theatre but still on campus.
im rather fond of this pic. this guy is a human beatbox. although i hate it his thumb was blurred.
this was after the show. the kid was so awesome. they were having a ball with him haha
the look on his face is just priceless. i have 4 shots like this one and he's got the same look in all of them.

Oedipus Rex done by the drama department
im very proud of this one. it was shot handheld at 1/15.
yea...this one is pretty gruesome. after Oedipus gouges his eyes out. i think they used chocolate syrup for the blood.
ive posted this one before but i really like it. it looks great in the 12x8 print i ordered too.
a group called the Patchwork Players. this was a christmas play for a bunch of children that were bused in from area schools.
you couldnt even see santa's face because the beard was so huge, it was funny
music camp from last summer (the hardhats were given to the kids as kind of a joke because of all the construction that was going on in the music building.
