Is this a landscape?

I'm still confused as to what the definition of a landscape is in photography. Does this qualify. I shot it today and I didn't like it in color but it seems to work for me better in black and white. Tell me what you guys think tips, etc.

    Sure it's a landscape.

I think the building on the left edge of the frame should either be in or out, half in is a bit bothersome. A minor nit to pick.

It is def. a landscape. Is the silo tilted in reality, or is this an example of foreshortening or barrel distortion?

Sure, landscape. I agree with the two previous comments. The silo seems a bit tilted, and the bldg to the bottom left should either be in or out. The other thing to think about saving is the detail. A lot of the center bottom portion of the shot is almost washed out. You might try bringing it down a little, seeing if that helps. Gotta be tough when you're shooting snow.

I disagree with Sid here, while it is true that a large part is washed out, it really emphasizes the texture on the right side of the photo. I think that's a good thing and IMO it will hurt the photo more than doing it good if you bring back detail in the washed out parts. Just my opinion :D
    Nice shot Dragon!!

The silo is falling apart and is deffinatley tilted in reality. Ill play with some stuff and post some altered versions.

Thank you. :D Now an explination of this shot. I was driving up to Frankenmuth, Mi. Saturday and was bout 10 minutes out of the city when I saw this. It is an old farm building that has been gradually falling down more and more every year and just the way the light and snow was I had to stop (first project in my class this symester is landscapes) so I shot with the digital and film. Have to wait till they let me into the lab to process the film though umph.gif . I got alot of car horns honking at me while I was shooting this. Wonder how long till its just a empty field.
