Code for 'insert link'

Hi grinners!

I'm trying to figure out how to link to a website without spelling out the web address like this: my smugmug site instead of like this: http://hackbarth.smugmug.com.

I obviously know how to do it in here when there's an 'Insert Link' button, but for other places, like my description area in my galleries, is there code that I have to use or something? :dunno
