My First HDR - Cardiff, Urban

A Mix of PhotoMatrix and Photoshop on this. Turned a pretty bland photo with bad lighting into something a little bit more interesting.

    Hey - I like that. Particularly the fact that there seem to be no signs of life - makes it look even bleaker and more desolated.

    I'll ensure I avoid Cardiff!!

    I like the bluish tone and the sky, but am ambivalent about the HDR process.

    I would consider straightening the horizon. What is the subject in this shot?

    :D It looks as if more than HDR is happening there. Any other treatments applied? BS

    Cardiff is a great place really. You should definetly come. Like all cities though it has it's less attractive areas plus it rains a fair bit. :)

    Yeah it started by using photomatrix to tonemap and then some curve/level/defining work in Photoshop. Hope that helps

    To me it looks like it's taken out of a computer game, or some animated movie. I actually like this.
