Hi there Brian, so no bugs hey? what happened ?
I love this Magic Lanter shot, and that's exactly what it looks like.
Love the colour of your Iris, but your water droplets and reflections are always out standing thanks for sharing....... Skippy

That series of shots in fantastic. Since bugs arn't really my thing, thaese reflection shots inspires me to learn Macro photography. I love the smooth backgrounds in the whole series, it makes the waterdrops look so sharp.
My favorites are number#1 I totally dig the majestic colors and the softness of this picture. And of course the magic lantern shot that Skippy liked... its amazing.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone
Al yes the camelia had quite a lot of PS pharting on it- my attempt to make it look interesting (for me at least) but it did end up looking as if it was made from wax I thought.

These are so beautiful...all of them...but I especially like "togetherness" and "magic lantern." Just inspiring!
Have you written a tutorial on getting droplet shots like these? I just got my first macro lens and I'd love to have some pointers on attempting shots like these.

To catch good images in droplets you need small drops (can be done with raindrops but the refracted images tend to be distorted), so you may need to get some extension tubes for your macro lens.
