I'm kidding. I wanna try shooting a moon, i just don't know how. I do have a telescope, would that help?
Thanks for looking!
Shooting the moon is easy, as long as you have the subject unobstructed, few minutes to spare and some long glass to reach it.
The shot you see is a 100%, taken handheld with Canon 30D and 100-400 at 400mm + TCx1.4. The lens gave me an effective resolution of 560mm, the body provided spot metering, thus allowing me to use some auto features. I coould've used a tripod, but I'm lazy, and IS works great :-)
I also taped the pins on TC and used it in MF mode, so autofocus does not hunt, but it gives me a confirmation when locked. Then I simply dialed +1EV exposure bias to compensate for the light loss in TC.
As to the telescope - you'd need a camera adapter for it. I'm not particularly keen on astrophotography, but I know for sure there are many ways to do that. You can search this forum or simply google it.

I like it but its not one of your best that you've taken of the moon.
