this guy was posing for me as pretty as you please...

when he decided to fly down to the field i was standing in about 100 feet away.

Incredibly, he then flew towards me and landed on a nearby stick about 30-40 feet away - i was so flustered, i missed the shot so i kept creeping closer, using stalking skills learned while playing cowboys and indians as a child...

No good eagles this overcast day, but not a bad hawk.:D
