Hi Y'all,

Yesterday was a Merry Maids day so I figured that it would be a fine time to see what's happening at MI. So I called Gale and we headed un up to Black Point Drive

It wasn't as busy as it has been the last two years but it wasn't too shabby either

This will probably be my last post for a bit as MI IV starts tomorrow and that should keep me a tad busy.

The ospreys are nesting again

the only problem was that they were too darn close

The spoonbills were flying in

the wood storks are there in force

The usual suspects were there too

On the way out we got a different kind of flight shot

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice shots as usual Harry. We are going to have to get the Merry Maids to come to your house on a daily basis!

What kind of bird is that last shot???

Thanks, that last one is a local species known for its rather unusual behavior. :D
