Hi. This is one of my first posts on here with pictures. I just bought a Canon Rebel XT and wanted some opinions on the photo's I've taken with it so far. The first two pics are of around the pond the geese were at, and of course the rest are of the geese.

Thx for your comments:

Ok here it is i simple get discusted by ppl who can take photos like that. I just got back from taking goose pictures and the white ones are in as well and when i got back home, they were either one legged, no headed geese or blurry geese, gosh darn it, i can't even walk to our local lake in my subdivision due to it's on private property. Pisses me off and then when i try to get some red tail pic's they take off as soon as you get too close. Here i thought i had a decent camera. bowdown.gifne_nau.gifheadscratch.gifrolleyes1.gif

Welcome. Your cloud shot is very nice. I like the rays coming through the cloud. In post processing you may be able to lower the exposure just a tad to make the upper part of the clouds not so bright. Your first geese shot looks fine but I think the auto focus on the Rebel concentrated more on the grass in the foreground than the goose. The goose came out a bit soft. The goose shot with the goose sticking up its head is fine. Perhaps all it needs is a bit of a vertical crop to focus the attention on the single goose. The same goes with the second to last shot. A crop would do nicely to focus the attention on the feeding geese.

All in all, I think these are fine shots. Have fun with the new set-up and welcome once again.

I like your geese! The only problem i have is the last one. It gives impression like you have 2 pictures in one. headscratch.gif What if you crop the top and leave just water and geese? Otherwise, those are nice!
