I dont know how many of you are into cars, but I just got back from the Media/Press Day at the Philadelphia International Auto Show. Here are a few shots that I got. I will put more up as I edit them. Comments and criticism encouraged.

    The last two shots being the same car.... what's a ball park figure that someone would have to pay for such a vehicle ???

    They certainly make them compact don't they, cause they sure don't look roomy at all.

    A very nice series indeed....... tell me when you go to do a shoot such as cars what's the widest lens you use for these type of events ??

    Thanks for the compliments Skippy. The car in question is the brand new Audi R8. They just released it this year. It retails for $110,000 USD. Comes from the factory with over 400 horsepower, it's an amazing machine. As for the lens, I shot all of the ones posted with my Tamron 11mm-18mm. This was on a Canon 350D which is not full frame. On a full frame body I only use like a 15mm or 17mm. Anything more than that causes distortion. Hope that helps.
