Bats
On my way home from work today I thought I would drive through Scenic Route around the Eastern Gardens in Geelong.
There are thousands of Bats that moved in a few years ago, and thought I'd give my 400m a try out withe a 1.4 Ext attached.
Dang things were on the branches in the tallest trees closest to the sky :rolleyes
Enjoy....... Skippy

Trust me Aiof if I could have found a clear spot I would have, those trees actually touch they are so close together, and those Bats are up as high as they can get in the tree........ most people just think they are Pine Cones but in fact they are quite large these bats.
I'll have another go at shooting them, but they continue to sit in the same trees, almost impossible to get a clear shot of them.
Thanks for looking....... Skippy

These ones are up so high gus as you can see by my shot, I used the 400 with a 1.4 Ext attached and still thats all I got in my shot.
Now if the little buggars would just hang on to the branches lower in the tree I'd be laughin ... Thanks for looking .... Skippy

They do have cute faces, and you captured just what I was hoping to catch, but these guys are up way too high.
Great shot Gus ... Skippy

Hi ya Swartzy, yeah they have tried and tried to get them out of the Botanical Gardens, but short of killing them, they will not be moved.
There are hundreds and hundreds of them, gosh they make a racket with their screaming ...... just wish the trees were not so high, it would make it easier to get a better shot of them thanks for looking.
