stages of life

I own a Kodak z650 and im looking to take pictures of snails life cycle. I have a container that some layed eggs in, so from clear jelly sacks down to the new hatchlings, i don't know if my camera is capable of such fine close up detail. If anyone out there owns one, have you done this and know what setting work best?? Ill go practice right now and see what i find out.
