the first one is good, but i'm not a fan of that dead center composition.
the second is really cool, the lighting looks wonderful.clap.gif great job on the b/w.

my only gripe about both of them is the frame. i don't find it attractive at all and i think the shots would be more powerful without them. that logo or whatever in the bottom right corner is also pulling my eye away from the picture.

overall, fantastic job! i would love to see more!

Thanks Binghott, You might be right about the frame ...

You can find more by clicking on my blog, in the signature.
About the frames... I think You'll understand when visiting my homepage :). In the future I'll try to make them without the frames, when posting on the photography forums ...

Here is a suggestion on a different crop. If you would prefer I don't modify your shots I'll remove it.
Please feel free to retouch and repost my images. Critique, Suggestions, and Technique tips always welcomed. Thanks for your interest.

I think this crop really highlights the wonderful detail and expression in the man's face. This shot is hard to draw your eyes away from. I like the 2nd one of the hands, too...great series.

    nice crop salazar!

antonjo- i see what you're saying about the framing on your photoblog, it works there, but not as much out of that format. also, i think your little half eye logo is too small to recognize what it is. it looks like half a cd.

alright there, Richard D. James... ;)

i think those pics both ROCK! i'm SUCH a sucker for BW...especially when shot at high ISO like it appears you did. you picked a great subject to shoot, as it REALLY gives the shots character. thanks for posting these!
