I was in Napa last week and noticed that every third fence post had a red winged blackbird on them.

Unfortunetly, I didnt have my good camera with me.

Very nice shots - very well lit subjects as well.....

It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

    Thanks Joel,

yep those Grebes are something to watch, they have to be the most animated birds on the lake, I love to watch their behaviour, their appetites and ability lo swallow large fish is amazing to watch.

And people wonder why I'm a birder :D

    Thanks for the kind comments,

I never liked redwing blackbirds, why?? because they are so friggin difficult to get a good exposure on, Iv'e been trying to get a good shot on these guys in natural light for a year, I'm pleased with these.

    Thanks Gale,

I would love to see your shot of the Grebe with a bull frog, that would be a cool capture.
