The girl, the dog and me took the short hike out to the ruins of Sutro Baths this weekend to get some shots and take in the sunset. Here's what came out of it. Hope you enjoy, as always, comments and crits welcome.

The canyon:

Sadly that seems to happen from time to time... (Not quite sure why) headscratch.gif

I really enjoyed the captures. Especially these two. Thanks for sharing them and keep them coming. :D

I wouldn't take it personally. A lot of times people sign in and just scan through the messages to see what's out there. THey're in a hurry and can't really spend the time to actually type a message so they make a mental note to get back to it.

Unfortunately as new posts get added your post gets pushed out and eventually goes to the backpages. Most people just take a look at what's in the front page and unless they remember to look for your post you end up lost in the "abyss".

Nice pics. I agree with STLMach1.

Nice pictures....I was there not too long ago...but only viewed it from the Cliff House. Did you get down into the cave? If so...how was it in there?

I did wander down into the cave, and was thinkign about shooting some HDR's from there, but the foot traffic was really high and didn't feel like being a traffic warden that day, especially since to most noticeable thing right outside the mouth of the cave is a sign saying "Keep out, extreme danger" which kinda was spoiling what I had in mind.

Its a fun place to shoot, for sure. looking forward to going back.
