Nice light Ian and the weather on Derwentwater is a whole lot better than down Surrey way.

clap.gif Very nice. It looks as though the stone jetty has been in use for centuries.

I much prefer the blue shot. It would be nice if you could coax a bit more shadow detail out of the upright piers, though. And perhaps add a we bit of sharpening there as well. I think it would bring out the drama in the shot while providing abit of foreground interest.

I like #1 better. The composition is better; I like the straight horizon with the dock askew. Also, the blue tones are more complimentary, I think. Thanks for sharing!

Hummm I like #2 better...like the orange colors. In number one the dock is reflective blue like the water...not sure I like that. Nonetheless...both are really striking. thumb.gif

I like them both but somehow I think they would look better if taken from a lower view point. Than again it's only my impression. The colours are great especialy the pastel pinks.
