    Nice Bill,

I like the colours and bokeh. What I would do is add 2 action shots at the bottom instead of the static ones... Then the upper photo will be the anticipation for the action, if you get my meaning :D It's nice as is, but that would be my take.
    Ciao

I really like the first shot, but the last two don't really do that much for me. I don't feel the anticipation in them like I do the first one.

Do you have some good action shots from the shoot you could use?

    I wish I had some other suggestions, but I really don't...sorry ne_nau.gif

Yes. I could keep the first shot as the "anticipation", then add a shot of the riders launching out of the gate, then a shot of them further down the track. Kinda a progression from start, to launch, to racing.

    Cool idea guys. :)

I agree with the others. The first picture is great, the second and third, so-so. Just because the anticipation of the frist. I like your idea for the progression though. It sounds good.

I think this is the hardest challenge yet. Not sure I like it but it is certainly stretching creativity. You have to hav 3 shots that are excellent, that fulfill a common thought or theme and that are visually pleasing together. Others have commented on the last two shots and I concur. What I do really like is that you did not go with the same-size-3-in-a-row. I would like to see you carry that a step further and have all 3 be a different size. I would also like to see the exterior border be given over largely or entirely to image. An additional thought that I have is that you might consider having the smaller pictures be closeups that maintain or enhance the size of the subject at the cost of presenting a tighter subject.

    Just some thoughts... good luck.

How about these images, as a progression from anticipation, to launch, to the first turn:

I like this set much better. They tell a story more than the first set (not that it's necessary to tell a story...) I think I'd just punch up the frame now. I wouldn't do much though, maybe just some drop shadows or thin borders or something. Don't really want to detract from the photos.

These are some very good shots, by the way! thumb.gif
