My Mom called me last night at 9pm saying "Turn on channel 6 NOW! There is a photography thing on about National Geographic!" Grab the DVR remote and ~BAM~ recorded. Honestly, check your local stations guys, it is on for 2 weeks here in Denver. And it is utterly amazing. It is entitled "At Close Range With National Geographic" and is a very uplclose and intimate show with NG Photog Joel Sartore. He is now one of the very last photogs that NG uses who still shoots film. I really learned alot for this show...it is one heck of a killer PBS special.     Four PBS stations to choose from in the Los Angeles viewing area and just my luck it's only on HD and I can't receive HD.

    I saw it last night and loved it! Especially the part where he's trying to organize his trip to Alaska and he asked his assistant if she thinks he actually likes his job eek7.gif. Being a pro for NG really isn't the glamorous thing everyone thinks it is.

    Laughing.gif no, mostly housewares, clothes, and some furniture (most of that is going to hit Cragslist)--gotta make room for a studio. The only gear I'd even be willing to part with is an old Minolta Maxxum kit & I know I won't get what I'd like to out of it.
