Hey Andy, if I understand you correctly and something "better" is coming, and you happen to need someone to beta that "better", feel free to let me know :-)

I had to kill all my galleries. I can't manually recreate them from flickr with keywords / tags, but I will be importing as soon as something better than the afforementioned solution comes along...
