    I love pictures of the moon, the entire surface is full of interesting markings, and I try to imagine meteorites hitting it at some stage and causing the dents and scrapes and boucing along making more holes as it goes.

    What I wonder is this......... if the moon has been hit by so many meteorites etc, how come there doesn't look like there are huge rock formations on it ???? like surely something could have broken off and imbedded itself into the Moons surface headscratch.gif
