My 80-400mm works rather well....or doesn't it? :scratch

See if you can figure out what's wrong with this picture!

I'll answer it in awhile after you guys have had time to ponder over it.

I don't think it is the no stars thing, because you have to expose a shot like that as though you were exposing for sunlight. And if you expose for sunlight it will be way underexposed to show the stars. I think anyway, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Can do this without taking a shot......pure Photoshop CS2and Flaming Pear plug-in's....could fool the best of us.
    I can fade it.....bout 101 diff things.
I can do the Earth like I was up in the Space Shuttle and took it as well! rolleyes1.gif

Just pointing out....you can do about anything with CS2 and a lil time.
    Pretty impressive eh? :D

SO the picture isn't real? Just done using the plugin? What was the hint that it wasn't real?

Nope not one real thing about it!
Just the Lunar Cell Flaming Pear plugin.

    What was the hint?
Too sharp and exact for any lens of my obtainable price range!

All in all I was pretty shocked at what can be done with CS2 .... a niffty plugin and to have never fired a frame!!

Wow! That is amazing! I assumed it was done using a dSLR attached to a telescope. There is a similar picture floating around that was shot using a telescope, and a lot of exposures to get the final image.

Wish I'd seen this when first posted....I am a flamin pear nut...used a bunch of their plugins for a long time w/ps7...that is why I would never give up ps7 cause of all the plug ins I have plugged into it:D

Of course the first pic had me fooled but when I saw the reflection i was sure it was a FP plug in like this pic............

49386289-Ti-1.jpg.....under that water is tons o' trash and fence posts and weeds, but this pic is interesting where the other is AWFUL........but I liked the tree and figured I could make something out of it.
Pic is also a link to the larger version.

EDIT: Thanks to ROGERSDA for telling me I had a bad link attached to my pic...it is now fixed.
