Went for a drive this afternoon to see if I could find the train down at Queescliff and low and behold there were two small ones there.

One was being filled up with water from the Tower.

Shots taken with Canon 20D, with Canon 10mm-22mm, hand held.

Enjoy....... Skippy

Thank Awais...... when we were kids my grandparents lived in the street that ran into the train station, it was only about 6-7 houses away from the train station, so we used to play down there a lot when we visited my Grandparent.

Over the years a lot of things have changed, but the area around the station hasnt changed much at all :D

    Thanks for looking...... Skippy

Nice shots Skippy, I really like #2. #1 with a judicious bit of cropping could make a good OOB.

Thanks Al.... I was trying not to get booked the signs around the Station leave a lot to be desired, I noticed another man parked near where I parked so I quickly took a few shots and moved on :D not worth a parking ticket.

I will have to keep this shot in mind next time I have a go at OOBing thumb.gif

Wide angle is fun! I might crop off a bit of the left, on the first shot. Nice stuff!

I would have liked to have seen the water tower in #1 as well. I didn't notice the hose in the first one, but did notice your car! :D

Hi ya Sid, normally there are not two trains down there, the second train looked sooooooooo tiny and was about the size of my car, wonder what they used that one for? looked too small for pulling carages.

I love this lens Sid, I've taken it out 3 times now, I wish things were green here but with the drought everythings dead.

I see what you mean with the cropping, thanks for the advice. :D

The water tower is actually just out of the frame on the right if you look carefully on the ground you will see the thick hose lead off the screen.

I couldn't get it in without a lot of rubbish being in the shot.

Usually there is an awesome big Green Steam Train down there, hopefully next time I will get that one.......... thanks for looking..... Skippy
