    Very nice pics!!

My parents are coming to visit us here in California and I'm planning to a trip to Vegas, but they want to see the desert. Did you have to hike a lot to take those pictures or were they taken near paved roads?

Would you be kind enough to tell us what was your route? I'd like to show those places to my dad, he'd love it!

    Cheers

    Padu

    Padu,

Areas that I would hit up:
    Zabriskie Point - Sunrise
    20 Mule Canyon
    Bad Water/Salt Flats
    Devils Golf Course
    Artist Drive
    Golden Canyon - Sunset

If you do them in that order, you should have a great time. However, you should research the area and look for some place that intrest you. It's a huge place with a lot of things to see.

Here are some sites to look at.

    I hope this helped you.

Wow, fantastic shots! Would love to know what method you use for your B&W conversion!!

    Rhuarc,

I use the two hue/saturation layers method. (If your not familiar with it let me know, I'll try to explain it more.) I use the levels layer to adjust contrast. I also use the burn and dodge tools quite a bit through out my process.

Check out this web site, it should help understand the method.

    Hi Mikko,

Is there a reason you deleted all your images?
