I have found that with my 20D and shooting RAW I never have enough storage space! I even carry my laptop so i can down load all my media to it.
I found these but in the past I use to see a lot of others... what do you do? Has any one used a wolverine? Or something like it?

Your on your own....good luck !
Here's a small review I did on another forum:

I’m using a 1GB IBM Microdrive to take my photos on my DSLR (my main shooting system) and it takes photos at 3,4 MP. I always shoot RAW, so I usually get around 3 MB size photos. As the size differs a bit, I’ve done some testing and came with 3,5s per photo as the speed for transfer. So you might say, approximately 1MB/s
Other than speed (I’ve taken it on a trip for 14 days):
- 60 GB is plenty for the 1150 shots I took in 14 days
- The OS isn’t ready for the big temperature changes, so keep the device cool (it works again, when it’s on temperature, the LCD doesn’t show correctly, it does work though, but you don’t know when it is finished, quite annoying, happened to me on the first day of the holiday, I’ve put it into a slightly cooled compartment of the car afterwards and had no troubles again)
- A full charge wouldn’t last the entire holiday, but that is also because the power-on button gets pressed easily (even unwanted)
- It is a good device also for card reading
- Size is ok
- Built…. Could have been better, but it’s okay, as a reader it is definitely solid.
- Weight… a tad heavy, but hey, it’s got a laptop HD inside
- Transfer to pc: fast, using USB 2.0

I'll soon update this, as I'm shooting an 8.2 MP now and I have some Sandisk Ultra II cards. I'll look into the speed differences!
Let me know if you have any questions on the unit!

I saw someone use it on a recent trip, and it's gone on my instant "must have" list. It's only just being launched, so they're still a little hard to get a hold of, but it's a lovely thing.

Well, I've used this device without a charger for a while and I was scared out of my wits..... 2GB in 3 cards and the battery indicator showed empty :cry either a tiny Vaio or an Epson 2000 will be the replacement for this unit... As much as I liked it, it lacks 'tha juice' to copy a lot. Makes a guy scared...
Thanks Gus, for lending your charger in Yosemite, that has been my only way out!!!!!

Hi Aaron I use an X-Drive as well, it's saves on having to buy heaps of memory cards, nothing hard about using it either, I just wished I'd brought one with a larger capacity drive thats all
My only grip with it is that it does not have a light in it, for when you want to see in bad light, you need to use a torch to see what it's doing.

Check this cool one out >>Here<< (very similar to the Epson 2000...and in stock!!!)
Or the FTX40 FlashTrax 40GB by >>SmartDisk<< which is also cool because of it's Star Trek communicator configuration (similar to a cell flip phone for those less Trekkie like). Also in stock...
Cheers!

It seems like everybody is out of stock with the Epson 2000 right now...
SmartDisk also has a 20gig for quite a bit less, and it also has the $50 rebate going right now as well. Check it out >>here<<.
The screen size is a little smaller than the Epson, but I also like the fact that the LCD is protected when it's not flipped up for viewing.
Cheers!

ps. Did you get any pics of the big trees before you headed for home? We hiked a bit, but didn't get to where the really big trees were before the weather and fatigue won out over desire...(sigh) :tough
