Selective colour fun

I was playing with PhotoShop this evening and thought I would share

    I don't think this really works, however as an all black & white portrait this is excellent. She has a really cute smile and seems at ease infront of the camera - or atleast you made it seem that way. The DOF really helps to isolate her.

    I agree-

    it can be difficult to make a go of selective coloring and quite a few don't care for it-

    I like it at times but I'm very selective-

    Selective color is tough to use appropriately and effectively. Too much used and it calls all attention away from what is really the subject matter.........in this case, your adorable daughter! Plus here you are using a very large amount (and bright) of color, which is even harder to handle. Cute pose of your daughter! :D
