Keywords don't show up

I've been happily captioning and keywording pics for several days now without a hitch until tonight and now i've spent about an hour trying to enter keywords but they just don't show up beneath the pic. If i click on edit the words are there in the keyword box, so why don't they show up ?
I've tried entering 1 at a time, caption & keyword together but still no joy. Its nearly bedtime for me and i hate to give up on a job.
The galleries I have been working on are

they don't have many pics in them and i could have entered them manually in half the time I've wasted - any thoughts please??:scratch:bow

You've applied captions here not keywords. Just the first photo has keywords associated with it. Look at edit captions,keywords, bulk...

Hi Andy,
That is the point of my post, the keywords i had entered didn't show up. Then I entered them for just that one pic. Now just in case i'm totally bonkers I've tried again and there are no keywords showing beneath the rest of the pics.

Apologies for being impatient, previously they have shown up straight away so that is what i was expecting - busy time for smugmug makes a diference then?
