Question about Viewing "Portrait" orientation pictures

When viewing my portrait-oriented pictures, I've noticed that I have to move my scroll bar to center the picture on my screen so I can view the entire picture. As I view pictures in my galleries, I am constantly have to do this. I noticed, however, that other galleries I've seen on Smugmug don't require scrolling. Some of my landscape-oriented picutres also require scrolling.
So what do I have to do so that I don't have to scroll? (I hope I'm making sense.)
Here's an example of what I mean:

Well, I can tell you that we here take scrolling very seriously and have tried our hardest to make sure no one has to in order to see their photos. But with that said, some people have their monitors set at different resolutions. So we came up with Elegant Small in the Style drop down. This style uses less thumbnails and the preview image is smaller. Try switching to that and see how it looks.

So why can I see other galleries in Elegant and still see the picture without scrolling, when I can't do the same with my own gallery?

Don't know about your scrolling problem but I'm honoured you're using my gallery as an example :lol

Richard- thanks for validating my problem. I have a 19" monitor set at 1024x768 and I still have to scroll. I wish I knew why you don't have to! But you ask a good question - it would be nice if it would stay scrolled.
And Nir..you're very welcome! I noticed you have captions on your photos, but not a gallery description. Maybe I'll give that a try.
Again, thanks everyone.
Remember, when you're logged in, extra features are enabled that take up screen space.
It could very well be that your description is fine, but since you're logged in, you have scrolling.
Try logging out and checking.
