First, let me confess a bit 'o laziness on this :D

If I upgrade a standard Smugmug user account to a Pro account are my existing shots automatically 'moved' to the new account?

In other words, does everything stay the same except the level of the account?

Thanks, please don't beat me for asking...:rofl
If every keystroke was a shutter press I'd be a pro by now...

There is no move in the upgrade process, the new features are added to your existing account. All of the settings and galleries you have remain intact. Now go ahead and upgrade! :D

You can even change the address for your site without moving your photos. I love it.

    Thanks Guys...
I tried the auto-update feature a little while ago and it said "try again or contact support".

I'm getting ready for work, so I'll try again later.

Hopefully I'll be up and running soon...

    Thanks again! thumb.gif

    Ok, Now we're cookin'....
    I upgraded tonight-all is well clap.gif

I downloaded the W9 form from the gov'ment, will fill out and send it on it's way.

I need to setup my 'co-branding' header (whatever that is, I just want a cool banner at the top with my name etc.).

    Setup my galleries and pricing.

    Question:

Is it possible to have a separate link or 'doorway' to a part of my page dedicated to my sports photography? I'd like people who come to the site to be able to get to a section of galleries that contain shots from different teams, sports, and games.

In otherwords, I want my main page to be "Photography by Anthony C Gargani", with a link to "little BIG shotz Sports Photography" which opens another page or section with just those galleries.

    hmmm...does that sound stupid? headscratch.gif

It is possible. For instance, I put all my sports photos into the "Sports" categories. If you go to davidson.smugmug.com/Sports (the capital is important), it goes to my sports page, just like davidson.smugmug.com/Street+Scenes goes to my street-scenes category.

    That's It!
That's exactly what I was looking for Marlinspike! Exactly... thumb.gif

Sub headings with PW protected galleries from different games and events.

Thanks so much...sorry I have to run. My wife just got home and she's dragging all the grocery bags in by herself eek7.gif
