About time you posted some shots Nick. These are excellent. You really ahndled the lighting and backgrounds well.

Excellent series Nick. You did a great job controlling the undesirable background garbage and finding some dramatic lighting. That owl is sweeeet.

Wow. Love the kestrel. Everyone seems to post kestrels that so much bigger than the ones I see around my neck of the woods. I also like the pic of the red tail and the lighting in that pic!

Thanks Harry. Althought the lighting was hard to deal with I think it really added something different and unique to the shots.

I thought your sidelit hawk would look very nice when I saw it on your LCD on your camera. That is the best capture of the kestels I have seen also.

I'm not usually one for bird shots but these are beautiful. Such fierce expressions on their faces! The bald eagle is especially moving.

Thanks William. The Caracara is a really hard bird to expose, thanks to RAW I got a couple keepers.
