what do you think of the way I have presented this flower shot? I like the ripped edges. Just learned this tonight so if it sucks I am ok with that.

    Tom beautiful flower shot. And I like the edges effect - looks like they're shimmering, to me. It doesn't suck at all, and the color's great.

    But I'm not sure the effect is a good border for a photo. It's so prominent that it steals attention from your shot. I reckon a good border should make your shot look better, not divide a viewer's attention.

    Effect is wicked kewl! thumb.gif But wrong photo for it.
    Maybe a shot of someones Old Car or something like that.headscratch.gif

    First thing that draws your attention is the boarder not the photo.
