Great shots guys! Sure do bring back memories - I flew KC-135s some 20 years ago, and got to do a bunch of that, mostly as the tanker, but did get to do a little receiver refueling.
Mike, are you shooting from an R/T? I was stationed at Grissom AFB, and we had the R/T A-models, which were receiver equipped. After GAFB closed, and they converted the As to Rs, I lost track of the R/Ts.
I keep saying that I need to find my old slides and scan some of those in. One of these days...

Nothing scary about it at all - well, except for a couple of pilots I've flown with...of course, the refueling manual has this to say:
I was a nav on the KC-135 at McConnell which is where all 8 of the R/Ts are now. Well that's where they're stationed, most of them are probably in the desert.
Y'all don't want to hear me, you just want to dance.
I really enjoyed looking at your aviation images. I've started my own collection these last few years. I have a WWII fighter museum just a few miles from my house and have become friendly with the staff. I even got a ride in a SNJ-3 a few weeks ago. Hoping to ride a P-51 soon. BS

Here are a few Luftwaffe Tornados we were refueling over the then-West Germany, April 1987.
Here are a couple of F-4s we tanked in January 1986
