New layer from current layers

I have an image I am working with that has multiple layers already. What I want to do is create a new layer that is a combination of all the current layers. Sort of like flattening the image into a new layer while preserving the current layers. I know it is possible but I cannot for the life of me remember how to do it. Any suggestions?

Never mind, I figured it out. Hold down Alt and click the fly out menu in the Layer window, keep Alt depressed and select Merge visable. This will give you a new layer.

Keyboard shortcut is Ctrl-Alt-Shift-E. I use it all the time, especially for making a top layer for final sharpening on a layered image.
