Cold Day At The Zoo....

But we had a good time. Ranking high in our favorites is the wolves. They get a bit more of our attention thatn the other animals. Today we got to talk to the keeper of the wolves and learned that the wolves that they have currently are expected to have pups in the fall. The two that they have are 2 of 50 in the nation. They are very very close to exstinction. So they are excited to have some pups and they will be released into the wild as soon as they can be pulled from the parents.

    Thanks Everyone....Seems the shakeing polar bear is the favorite. I ordered a very large print of the first one from smugmug for my wife. She really loves the wolves. Cant wait to get it.

    I'm going to the Big Cat habitat sanctuary on Sunday. Woohoooo, that would be fun with big cats!!!

    Wow, no zoo near you? That would not be good for us. We love going to the zoo. Hope you have fun at the big cats!!!

    P.S. As an update, the pups I mentioned back then have been born. A normal litter is 4-5 pups, she had 10!!!!! I have alot of shots of them but all of them still need processed. Thanks :)

    Oh if only I could sit in that snow or ice. It was 100 degrees here today. The wolves are very nice and I like the pose of the sea lion. That first polar bear shot is good as well. You really stopped the action well. Nice captures. thumb.gif
