We all (my family) played an intense game of Monopoly Jr. over Christmas break - I had just received my new sensor from Sony and had to check the color and dynamic range.

Thanks Skippy. I actually had my camera converted twice...originally last Fall, then again this Winter after Sony replaced a faulty sensor.

The conversion brings a sharper picture because the anti-aliasing filter gets thrown out too. I take about 50% IR and no longer have to get frustrated with overexposure if I guess wrong on the amount of ND filtering. For me, its quite thrilling. I love B&W and thoroughly enjoy creating more interesting photos. My kids love the IR pics I take when we go to play at the pool in the summer - seeing deep black water is so cool.

I think one of my kids won the game...I am the dominator when it comes to air hockey though...my wife is the queen of the ping-pong table.
