I am thinking about picking this up.

Do you think it would hold my 20D with the following lenses (one of which would be attached: 70-200 f/4, 24-70 2.8, Sigma 10-20?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I really like LowePros stuff..but to me these both (100 & 200) seem really small after having seen them in person....In the marketing photos they look much bigger than they are.

You need to see if any of your local shops have it in stock and take the kit you want to carry in it to the store and try it out.

I live pretty near B&H. I may have to try and get out of work early one of these days to try it out.

I am also thinking of Crumpler's 6 million or 7 million dollar house. There is a store w/in walking distance that I may have to check out.

Lowepro are also releasing the Slingshot 300, shown in the February Pop Photo

Supposed to be large enough to carry a camera, a couple of lenses, including up to a 70-200 f/2.8

FYI - I did a mini-review of the 7 Million Dollar Home here:

I did point out a few shortcomings of the bag. While I don't know if those shortcomings apply to the 6 Million Dollar Home, I feel they are things to watch out for with the larger Crumpler bags.

I have the Slingshot 100 and really like the style of it. I have only had it a short time and it's already to small for me.

I have it packed with body/lens and two other lens, plus a flash.
Shutter release, batteries, memory cards, flash base and a couple filters.

I am looking at getting another lens this spring. Something for soccer and baseball photos. I have no room left in the bag now.

Maybe you would be interested in buying a good used one. ;)

I'm pretty sure the answer for the SS100 is no. The SS200 and 300 are a different story.

I have the 200 and it fits my 20D+grip+24-70/2.8 nicely. The 70-200 will fit, but not mounted (I've packed the 70-200/2.8IS--it's tight but works).

The SS300 will take the 70-200 lenses mounted, but is a whole lot bigger.

I would suggest looking at the 200--it's a really good size and is one of the most popular bags for a reason. Check the reviews on http://www.cambags.com

I got the 300 today. It takes a 70-200 attached to a camera body. It has plenty of room for a couple of lens , flash, charger, etc but still isn't too big or cumbersome. It also has a weatherproof cover, as do the 100 &200.

It fits into a Give v46 top box, if any bikers are interested. The Lowepro rucksack that I have had for two years is too big for the top-box.
