I Am New At Taking Pics..i Just Got My Cam In Nov Of 04.. Cant Seem To Put It Down.. But I Have Some Awesome Pics Of Sunsets And Wildlife.. Deer, Buzzards, Lol,, Birds,, What Do Ya Think Of A First Timer.. :d

    hmm very nice,

    that blue is so awkward :D it's cool! And the texture is very appealing.
    I don't know if I care much for the parts of trees, I would have liked to see either more, or none :D but that's taste mwink.gif

    HWJF, the first pic posted at the top here is a great example of being in the right place at the right time. Kudo's for getting the shot of the sky show. Mother nature sure can cook, can't she?

    Now the critique part.... Very well exposed - but I would have liked to have seen more of the ground in that shot. It allows one to look from the bottom, up, and up... bringing an added dramatic sense of depth in the shot to the viewer. The ground would also form a darkish border at the bottom, which adds what a teacher of mine once called "visual weight."

    Overall, you're on the right track getting that pic. Post more like those! Keep your eyes open, your camera handy, and don't forget to also look behind you as you walk. 50% of the good shots might be in that other direction.
