Would you take offence if I still did my ice idea ?

Anyhow here is my C&C:

I think the background is a little too dark, and the shape of the 2 ice pieces is a little wierd. For a bit I was trying to figure out what I was looking at here.

But it sure says change to me since I had the same thought =c)

Truth, often your work grabs me right away. This one isn't doing it yet. It needs somthing, more colour? different lighting? Keep going, I like the concept, you've got lots of time.

I like its simplicity and elegance.

The only way it could be better would be if you'd used one of those little cooking-torches(?) to make it steam as well as melt.

I can't really say WHY your second version is more appealing to me than the first - - other than that each time I look at it I get thirsty:)
