The soft bags that AB sells are hard to beat for price:

Are you looking for a hard case to hold all three?

Does it need to be shipable or airline capable?

15524779-Ti.gif with Ziggy...now if you need a hard case....take a close look at a GOOD footlocker...not a Wal-mart $20.00 footlocker but an actual footlocker for moving and line it with some felt or a semi rigid foam.....

Or with a little patience you could build one out of a light weight plywood and configure it to suit your needs....hit a Harbor Freight and add a set of wheels on one end and a handle on the other it is now very mobile.....

I was looking for one case to hold all three. It does not have to be airline worthy as it's for storage and transport via car. I'd prefer not go with a hard case if possible.

    What about DIY? <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/ne_nau.gif" border="0" alt="" >

Find a fabric store... get a few yards of heavy muslin, with dowels on the sides where the handles attach. It would be something like what is used to carry firewood in from outdoors. Of course, a sewing machine, or the ability to use needle and thread would be needed with this. Velcro could also be used to keep the whole thing wrapped up till you got on site. Maybe cost you <$10 in materials and a few hours of time. But you could make it as large or small as you wanted. Very simple, to the point and quite custom...

I had originally purchased an Impact Tungsten light set, with stands and umbrellas, it came with this case:

Well that looks like the case I have anyway....It holds all three of my AB800's, in their soft cases, along with three stands, 4 umbrellas, extension cords, a set of honeycomb filters, grey card, and probably something else I'm forgetting.

I'm telling you the Truth, it works!

When you close that top flap there is room for the stands, and umbrellas, plus three pockets for smaller stuff.

Works like a charm. Gives your lighting equipment some padding, and you a shoulder strap to carry all of it to your location.

I ended up buying a Pelican 1550. I can get all 3 AB800's, the power cords and my pocket wizards in it and it's nice and snug. There's no movement inside and everything is separated by dividers. I still need to find another case for the reflectors and my grids and what not, but the $$$ stuff is uber safe. I can get all my stands, boom and octobox into the soft case Calumet gave me with the boom kit so all in all I should end up with everything fitting into 3 containers that will easily fit in my car's (2 door coupe) trunk. If I ever add another AB800 to my collection I'll need a larger case, but the 1550 case will be a nice travel case for my camera and lenses, so I felt it was a good long term purchase at $168.00.

Can't go wrong with a Pelican. I have the same bag as Jeffro for the same Impact kit and it would work, but I can see the Pelican being much nicer.

I wanted a rolling case for my three AB's and ended up with this one (though this is not where I bought mine). It is soft-sided, so you won't want to fly with it, but it has enough room for three AB's, reflectors, cords, and a few small lightstands or umbrellas. I only take my AB's on the road a few times a month, so this case suits me perfectly. Toss it in the back seat and I'm on my way.

Kata has a nice bag here that lists for $419 US. B&H doesn't have this one but does have several others.
