Hi all,

We had an unexpected visitor to our garden birdfeeder yesterday and thought I'd share this photo. We normally have small birds like sparrows, finch's, etc - first time for this size bird!

What a gorgeous bird! Did it scare away the smaller ones, or are they eating in harmony from your feeder?

Nice shot, thanks for posting it.

    happy day,

    re: Visitor
Thanks for the comments on the photo. This guy has just started showing up at the feeder, although I have seen him around for the past several months. The other birds leave the feeder when he's around, so guess his size or attitude keeps them from challenging him. :)

An excellent image, but a little more tail. Of course if possible. thumb.gifthumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
