Hi all
Don't know if this is the correct forum for this, but hopefully a moderator will move it if its wrong.
I've just received an email from my local magazine that I'm doing photography for.
Here is the text of the email:
The UK Govt are about to propose restrictions on photography in
public places which could make street photography and documentary
photography against the law. There's a petition on the Downing St
website against the Government's proposals to restrict the use of
photography in public areas. Sign up to the petition now......

And then please forward this email.
I've already signed it. I think it smacks of Big Brother & curtailing of civil liberties and am horrfied that the government that is supposed to represent me is trying to stop me doing something I enjoy. Feel free to pass it on, the more people that sign it, the more this ridiculous attempt to stop us practising our hobbie/profession & commenting on what we see in the world around us, will be shown to be a Draconian inplemetnation by our Nanny State government.
