Hey, I just moved to NM and have started to become more serious about my shooting since moving here. I would love to get some feed back. This is a pic i took up in Santa Fe a couple of days ago

Hi Jessica and welcome! I think adobe buildings are great subjects. Even in B/W I bet...
IMHO, the tree seems a bit unnecessary - try going for more shots of the light playing across the shapes of the walls/roofs etc. that make the adobe style so artistic. One other thought is to try to maximize the use of a polarizing filter to get the blue sky in the background. Just some thoughts, you're off to a great start so keep at it.
I bet in NM you're going to find some great scenery to shoot!
