Gallery ordered by date modified, photos are not in order

I'm baffled. I have my galleries sorted by date modified, and until this afternoon that has been fine. But now photos are showing in somewhat random sequence when the style is set to smugmug. The order is correct in other gallery styles (I tried all thumbs, and journal).

At first I assumed it was a browser problem (no, that doesn't make any sense, but it's where I started). I am using IE7 - so I closed the browser and deleted all temporary files. Opened it again, and I saw the same problem.

I switched to Firefox. Same problem.

I've seen this in more than one gallery. Here's one as an example: http://denise.smugmug.com/gallery/2226574.

In smugmug style, the date modified of the 1st 6 photos (in sequence) are:

1. 2006-12-09 08:18
2. 2006-12-11 13:24
3. 2006-12-16 13:21
4. 2006-12-16 13:34
5. 2006-12-09 16:56
6. 2006-12-09 17:01

I could continue to list photos, but I don't think there is any need. I didn't check all pages of the gallery, just the first page and the last page, and there are out of sequence photos on both.

Is it something I did? Or a more general problem?

Sorry, it's a very recent bug. We are working on a fix right now.

Update: It appears the Smugsorcerers were successful. It should be fixed now.
