Macro flower and spider

Im really enjoying this macro lark
Trapped in my bedroom taking pictures...did i say bedroom? i meant studio!

    Good series- not mad on the composition of #1 but #2 &3 are excellent. The spider is especially nice and sharp :)
    Main thing as you say is to enjoy it .

    Yeh 1 was one I was 50-50 on, I liked the flower but wasnt sure bout the vase above. 1 and 2 are uncropped but 3 had a slight crop.

    I suprised myself with three as it was hand held outside leaning on a step.

    Leaning or resting on things is a great technique- I do it all the time :).
    Apart from saying the spider is an orb web weaver I don't know I'm afraid.

    1 & 2 i don't like the crops and the colors look blown (did u bump the color in PP ?)

    #3 is very nice

    Thanks Randy, agree on the framing(neither are cropped) of number 1 but I actually love the framing of #2 and neither had colour altered in Post, I adjusted WB and sharpened neither showed as blown on Bibble color histogram. are you sure its not your monitor?

    it's prob the texture of the flower and not blown
    it was real bright w/o alog of detail but it's a smooth flower
