With all the great covered bridge shots I decided to shot one myself,not covered mind you since there are none within at least a 12 hour drive.
So here is my shot but... would you clone out the graffiti?

Nope! Not me. There is graffiti all over the inside of the covered bridges - It is part of reality - unless you were wanting to create a high contrast image or something

Here is one man's opinion painted inside a covered bridge before the county road crew sanded it off
