    I love this shot.
Its completely unlike the other ones where the shots are what you would normally find taking pictures of a band with bad lighting and strong colored lights. Sure you can get some really neat things sometimes but this shot is really cool.
You can see the strong purple light on his shirt- you know where he is. But the lighting on his face is a normal white. The angle is very different and you captured just enough for us to wonder what the whole story is. And there is a great sense of fun to this image and great movement but clarity in his hair shaking, fingers playing motion.
    Good job!

I like the same shot Ashley does, and for the same reasons. I tried to think of something special to add, but she said it all so well that I will just...15524779-Ti.gif

I bet Angus Young wishes there was a pic of him that looked this nice. Great work!

    happy day,

Thanks Everyone! I REALLY appreciate the kind words. I have been doing concert photography for about 6 months now, so I am still REALLY new at it and in the risk taking mode! heheh That one was a risk since I had NO CLUE what it would look like on the computer and in print.

First thing that came to mind when I saw that first image was

    Mother
Tell your children not to walk my way
Tell your children not to hear my words
    What they mean
    What they say
    Mother

But perhaps that's the wrong band :)

I also like the purple shirt shot, but I find the ceiling elements a bit distracting. I wonder if some postprocessing to blacken them out would help...

wings.gif hehe Yeah that is the wrong band, but your RIGHT! I DO see that when I look at that shot! hehehe
I was thinking the same thing about the celing. I will have to work on that when I get to the house. Maybe a little bit of Dodge and burn. Thanks for the tip!
