Here are some pitures from the 100 Acre Wood Rally, one of the Rally America events. Very good event with awesome conditions on Friday. Saturday it rained but oh well, at least dust didn't get into the camera any more :D

    Outstanding shots! I'm Sean Sosik-Hamor, team owner and driver for Trunkmonkey Racing and the 762 PGT Trunkmonkey Pink Impreza. :D You ever make it to Maine Forest Rally?

    thank you :)
    Right now I don't plan on going anywhere for a while as i have baby due in may and will have to be with the wife for most of the time.
    Also it may be a bit too far for my amature budget :cry
    If anything changes, i'll let you know thumb.gif

    Great shots. Looks like fun to watch.

    Now you just have to get them to install underdash lighting so we can see their faces!:D

    yeah, in some pictures you can see faces OK. It also helps to have polarizer to get rid of the windshield glare but it makes the times a bit longer.

    no, no jumps this year. They eliminated most of the "good" spots.
    There was some smaller "bumps" but they were really hard to get to.

    You produce exellent rallyshots as always. You look like you are pretty close to the cars. What focal length are you using for these shots?

    // Sebastian
    Canon EOS 30D | Sigma EX 18-50/2.8 DC
    Sony A-100 | Sony 18-70 kit lens | Tamron 70-300mm 4-5.6 | Minolta 50mm 1.7

    It all depends on wehre i stand. Usually i just bolt on the 70-300 that i have but if i'm on the inside of the harpin corner i have to use the wide angle.
    Some of the above shots were done at exactly 70mm and some at 200 or higher.
    you can find full exif in the link provided in the first post.
    thanx :)
