The Edge, in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, UK. Rumour has it this is the home of Merlin the Wizard and King Arthur, makes for quite and intersting read...

We spent a few hours yesterday morning getting lost ( and muddy ) around the forests and pathways.

Hi Mog, I've been lost in the forest in USA with 2 other people,
thank goodness we found our way out before dark, but we were lost for hours.

I must say it was very pretty where we were, and thank goodness the other two folks I was with finally got their map reading sorted out rolleyes1.gif

Those trees have been lucky enough to survive the scars, don't know that I would like to be lost in those woods in the dark either eek7.gif .... Skippy

    Hi Skippy,

Yes, very scary at night I would imagine. Due to the tales of Merlin and King Arthur it get's very busy around Halloween time with so called witches and cults meeting in the woods. In recent years the police have started blocking the road to stop people going up there...
