Quick trip to the Smoky Mountains this past weekend. There were lots of visitors to Laurel Falls - probably because it's a paved trail! LOL

I don't recall seeing the concrete walkway over the water....they must have had too many injuries and added that recently. Wasn't there last year.

These are just snapshots without a tripod or much concern for camera settings.

Watch out kid! What's he fishing for anyway (with a walking stick)?

I did mention people, right?

Very nice. We hiked out to Laurel Falls when I was up there in 2005. It is a beautiful spot- we even saw a bear on the way out. Unfortunalely I lost all the pictures when my computer crashed. We are going back up there this summer- I can't wait.
    Thanks!

There's another falls that's off the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail that's an easy walk/hike. That one is realy nice too. Check that one out. I don't recall the name of it, but you'll see the sign and parking area for it when driving down that motor nature trail.
