Horsetail Fall - a few more from this past weekend

Ed's always faster on the post than me... :dunno

And he's right, if you've never seen this and can make a trip to Yosemite for late February sometime, it really is spectacular! This was my fourth attempt (couple times each of the last two years) and it finally paid off!

Here are two more with another perspective that I also liked a lot. They lessens the overall impact of the falls (print nice at 13x19), but also gain impact by making El Cap more recognizable and help anchor the "place". Your thoughts/suggestions?

#3 is my favorite. It's nice to see everything instead of the super-zoom in on just the colorful waterfall.

Wow, wonderful. To be honest, I'd sorta dismissed all the talk about the sunlit water. You guys' images are changing my mind. Very cool indeed.

I'm with Elaine - Never heard of this before but it is gorgeous! I thought it was lava at first, but knew it couldn't be because it was Yosemite. Great job.

Thanks! I think I agree, although #2 is the one I've printed and hung in my office. :D It just "shows" better - I think.
